Company History

On October 1, 1990 a private construction firm under the business name UNI-STAV was founded. It conducted business as a physical entity on the basis of a trade license. Besides construction activities, this firm later began conducting business with construction materials and in February of 1995 was transformed into a limited liability company under the name PVP family. From the beginning their business activity was focused only on Nejdek and the vicinity, gradually it expanded to Karlovy Vary and the entire Western Bohemian Region when business premises where established in Pilsen. 

Company evolution was oriented more towards commercial activity with construction materials and technologies. Construction activity in the years 1997-1998 was minimized and it reached a volume of a few million crowns per year. In the beginning of the year 1999 construction activity was detached from the company PVP family on account of its revitalization and thus was formed the construction company IPM stars, s.r.o. The main reason for the separation of the firms was the need to maintain business partners of PVP family, primarily that of construction firms, preserve its competitiveness in the construction materials market, and build up the competitiveness of the construction firm IPM stars, s.r.o.

The above-described evolution and changes of names as well as structures of the firms were in no case caused by a lack of success, insolvency, or the interference of another entity. All of the firms exist up to the present. The physical entity under the title UNI-STAV is still the bearer of the trade license, except it does not use it for business activity. PVP family spol. s r.o. is still an active and successful firm in the market with construction materials.
The gradual development of the firms is indicated well by the evolution of proceeds:

1990 - 800 thousand CZK,
2001 - 160 million CZK (IPM+PVP)
2002 - 220 million CZK (IPM+PVP)
2003 - 348 million CZK (IPM+PVP)
